This handcrafted fantasy terrain set from Terrain4Games Studio is a fantastic addition to any oldhammer-style battlefield. I use it all the time for fantasy wargames, and I’ve even repurposed parts of it for historical settings. The quality is excellent, with a great retro aesthetic that fits perfectly with classic fantasy battlefields. Since it’s custom-made to order, it used to take quite a while to arrive, but it seems they’ve improved their turnaround time significantly.

This set contains:

I recently received my new desert-themed set from Terrain4Games Studio, and I’m happy to report that their customer service and shipping time have significantly improved. This time around, the set arrived much faster than my original order, while still maintaining the same great quality.
As a nice surprise, they also included a free 3D-printed Polish miniature suitable for Bolt Action, which was a great touch.

Cons:
- The included trees aren’t great – they’re fine, but I personally prefer K&M Trees, the original supplier of 1990s Games Workshop trees and hedges, for a more authentic oldhammer look.

My original rating for the fantasy set was 4/5 due to slow shipping and communication, but based on my latest experience, I’m updating my rating to a full 5/5 for the desert set. Terrain4Games Studio has improved their service without compromising quality, and the free miniature was a great bonus.
I’ll definitely be ordering more from them again in the future. If you’re looking for affordable, high-quality, oldhammer-style terrain that saves you time and effort, this is an excellent choice.
